Dale Curd and Owen Williams

Guy Talk is a radio show that deals with psychological issues which modern men face.  
The underlying premise of Guy Talk rests in the question: Why Won’t Men Grow Up? The creator/hosts of Guy Talk are Dale Curd and Owen Williams. They work in private practice in the Beach area of Toronto. They support both families and individuals. This show is built on years of professional experience that has led Dale and Owen to the conclusion that a lot of problems men face can be traced to the fact that they just haven't grown up. The modern man is is not yet a man, but rather is held in a prolonged boyhood that creates tensions within the self, within relationships, intimate and otherwise, and that spills into the society at large affecting our social and political structure. Gay or straight, married or single, adolescent or elderly, all men struggle with what it means to be a man in the complex, pressure filled time in which we live.

Guy Talk brings together two experienced, respected, compassionate, articulate therapists with the same philosophy but very different styles.

 Owen Williams takes a subtle and measured approach in his work, while his colleague Dale Curd is a little bit rock n roll - he is more direct, more in-your-face. Together they have created a show that will be on the money every time out.  It will be provocative and will challenge the listener. Both Dale and Owen will be, when appropriate, speaking from their own experiences from life and therapy, including divorces, children, blended families, coming out, gay marriage and more.

Guy Talk will include authors, experts, celebrities, and ordinary guys on the phone telling their own stories. Some weeks the show will sound like a group male therapy session on the air.
