Marc Saltzman

Marc Saltzman has reported on the high-tech industry for the past ten years as a freelance journalist, author, lecturer, consultant, and radio and TV personality. His specialties lie in consumer electronics, video games, computers and Internet trends.

Along with his weekly syndicated columns with Gannett News Service, CNN.com, USAToday.com and CanWest Media, Marc currently contributes to over three dozen prominent publications, including USA Today, LA Times, MSN, National Post, AARP - The Magazine, The Costco Connection, Playboy, Playboy.com, Yahoo! Video Games, Tribute, Movie Entertainment magazine, Here's How, HUB, Chill, Digital Journal and others.

Gannett News Service is the USA's largest newspaper group in terms of circulation. The company's 100+ daily newspapers in the USA have a combined daily paid circulation of 7.8 million.

In May of 2001, Marc became a technology expert at CNN, the Cable News Network. Marc is often an on-air guest to talk about an array of high-tech issues, be it video games, the Internet, computers and consumer electronics.

Marc is also the host of Gadgets and Gizmos, a television show seen on G4TechTV, and G3, a twice-a-week feature on the Global News Morning program in Canada, which airs on the Global Television Network.

Marc also writes for and hosts two radio shows. The first is "Tech Talk with Marc Saltzman," on Canada's most listened-to talk station, CFRB (1010AM in Toronto). The hour long call-in program airs live on Sunday at noon. CFRB's parent company is Astral Media. The second radio program is "Plugged In with Marc Saltzman," a nationally syndicated radio vignette (60-second interstitial) that airs daily, Monday to Friday, on 30+ AM and FM radio stations across Canada and the U.S., including CFRB.
