Silvana Aceto (CFRB News) The wife of former Leafs tough guy, Tie Domi, gets the house, the kids and a restraining order.

The case made headlines after Leanne Domi filed for a divorce and accused her husband of having an affair with Liberal MP Belinda Stronach.

For the time being, Leanne will be responsible for the day to day decision making when it comes to the three kids while Tie gets regular visits with his children and will have to pay the household bills, for the children's schooling and any lessons or extra-curricular activities.  He is also ordered to refrain from having any contact with his wife.

Julie Hannaford, Leanne's lawyer, spoke to reporters outside the courthouse after the consent order and temporary agreement was filed.

"This matter has been very acrimonious, there is a great deal of sadness by Mrs. Domi and by Mr. Domi. We are pleased that we arrived at a consent order that we believe will be beneficial to the children and to the parties," Hannaford said.

"I think you all have a very good idea of what my client is going through it is all set out in the pleadings," Hannaford added.

Leanne alleges her husband cheated on her with Stronach. She said she believes the relationship began when the former Leafs tough guy started working on her political campaign. Leanne added she also discovered Tie was involved with TV actress Tia Carrere.

Meanwhile in Ottawa, Stronach refused to comment about the alleged affair.

Neither Tie nor his wife, of 13 years, appeared in court.

Leanne is seeking $30,000 in support and more than $15,000 a month for child support.
