Checking Facebook is a daily ritual for most - it offers the ease of chatting with friends in other countries and the ability to post pictures of all your adventures. But what happens when your account gets hacked?

That's what happened to CFRB's own Lori Paris. She realised someone had hacked into her account when a co-worker told her someone contacted him saying she needed urgent help.

Someone started sending messages to friends from her profile, saying she had been robbed and was stranded in england.
