It's been exactly two months since the York university strike began and student frustration is growing by the day.

That's because many have lost jobs promised to them when they finish school since they'll be graduating at a later date. Others have lost their part-time on-campus jobs, causing them to apply for bank loans to pay their rent.

Which is why student reps have presented a 4,300-signature petition to both the union and the school asking for a quick resolution so they can get back to class.

The York Federation of Students went around to campus residences and near-by apartment buildings in December to collect signatures for this petition.
