Ryan Bird's report on Richmond Hill fire

A fire at an-eight storey apartment building in Richmond Hill forced dozens out of their homes early Tuesday morning.

Two people were taken to hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation.

York Regional Police say they believe the fire was started accidentally, but that that won't be confirmed until the fire marshal's office investigates.

Residents were taken to a nearby mall to stay warm while firefighters battled the fire. Everyone, except for those living on the first floor, has been allowed to return home.
