While police have officially confirmed that the deaths of a family of four people in Scarborough yesterday is in fact a murder-suicide, detectives won't reveal much else.

Questions are still left unanswered about how the four died, if this happened the morning the bodies were found or the night before; and where the bodies were located in the home on Welwyn Ave in the Ellesemere and Markham Road area.

Police say detectives are still investigating and say they will only be able to speak after autopsies are done on the bodies on Saturday.  

They would say, however, that there wasn't a history of violence in the family -police had never visited the home before this tragedy.

The home belongs to Wanda and Keith DeLong, who have two adult children.

Police won't officially reveal the names of those found inside the house.
