Mark Carcasole's report on the TDSB's anti-GST campaign

The Toronto District School Board has made it clear what they're looking for out of the federal election, complete exemption from the GST.  They're now launching an ad campaign to get the word out there.

Even though they get a 68% rebate and only end up having to pay 32% of the GST, the Board pays about $10 million to the tax every year, and says boards across Canada pay about $200 million.  All money they say could be spent benefitting students.

So, they took some action on the issue at Wednesday night's board meeting.
