A UN official in the Gaza Strip says Israeli forces have fired on a truck on a UN aid mission and killed the driver.

Dalton McGuinty faced harsh criticism from the opposition for the state of Ontario's economy, as the fall session began at Queen's Park today.
The premier found himself defending his government's five-point plan to kick-start the economy. The plan includes investments in job training and infrastructure, as well as business tax cuts.

McGuinty continues to say it's help from the federal government that will allow Ontario to boost its shaky economy. This, as opposition leaders say it was up to McGuinty in the first place to help avoid things like job losses in the manufacturing sector.
