Toronto police are searching for a man in his late twenties after a vicious sexual assault in the College and Beverly area.

At four o'clock this morning, a 25-year-old woman was walking home on Cecil Street by Beverly when a man grabbed her from behind, pulled her into the bushes of a nearby alleyway and sexually assaulted her. No weapon was used and her injuries were not life-threatening.

Police say it was a random attack.

Police are now looking for a man between 25-and-30 years old, 5'8" and was wearing a dark hoodie and light pants at the time of the assault.
