Gas prices are at their lowest levels since April. Regular gas was going for just over $1.13-a-litre on Friday following a drop of roughly 6 cents overnight.
Liberal MP and gas price watchdog, Dan McTeague, suggests the price drop is the "result of the odd call being made by certain people who are very pressured at the top and knew this had political consequences for their fortunes in the election."
Last weekend service stations in the Toronto area were charging $1.38 for lowest grade.
