Amber Gero's report on the mushroom recall

There's a recall of mushrooms over concerns about listeria bacterium.  Fresh Obsessions brand Ready to Serve pre-sliced white mushrooms are being recalled from stores in Ontario.

They are produced at Ravine Mushroom Farms in Woodbridge. 

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency statement did not connect this with the nation-wide listeriosis outbreak linked to meat produced at Maple Leaf Foods. 12 people with listeriosis have died.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the mushrooms.

The recalled product is sold in 227 gram/8 ounce packages with a UPC code 0 69200 00902 2. The lot code is R12398.
