Bernice Sampson Protests For Her Daughter

In order to give her daughter a voice Bernice Sampson held a protest in memory of her 7 year-old daughter Katelynn Sampson.

Listen to Sabrina Ramlall's report.

A small group of people, including Bernice Sampson, gathered outside of the family courthouse in portest of the Judge who appointed 29 year-old Donna Irving as Katelynn's legal guardian.

Bernice Sampson says more could of been done to save her daughters life.  Irving has had previous charges for violent crimes on her record, and Sampson says she was unaware of the charges.

Sampson says she will continue to protest outside of the courthouse on Jarvis St. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
