Downsview Residents packed a local church for a community meeting with city officials and their local Member of Provincial Parliament Thursday night.
It was the first time residents were able to ask officials about the blast at Sunrise Propane since they were shaken out of their beds early Sunday morning.

Asbestos concerns and monetary help repairing the damage were the hot button issues of the night, with many residents leaving the meeting more confused than when they went in.
A number of residents asked for a "registry" to be established noting that illnesses caused by asbestos exposure may not appear in a person for years. They also requested that a "disaster relief fund" be established by the city.
"I can commit to you now that I will move a motion on the floor of Council that we start a disaster relief fund for emergencies such as this."said City Councillor Rob Ford.
However the area's councillor, Maria Augemeri, was busy fielding questions at her own public meeting.
More then 200 people came out to the meeting to raise questions about asbestos, setting up a registry for everyone who has been effected and about zoning.
