Dr Cheryle Seguin on stem cell development
Sick Kids researchers have found a way to control embryonic stem cells so they give rise to only one category of cell, a first step in medicine's quest to generate specific tissues to repair or replace parts of the body that are diseased, damaged or worn out. Dr. Cheryle Seguin, Developmental and Stem Cell Biology program, Hospital for Sick Children and lead author of the study was a guest on Toronto at Noon with Jane Brown to talk about the study.
