The head of a prominent US cancer research institute is echoing an earlier warning made this month by Toronto Public Health.

Dr. Ronald Herberman is asking cell phone users to limit use, especially among children and teenagers. Because of their underdeveloped brain tissues, children may be at increased risks to electromagnetic waves emitted by cell phones.

Although there's no solid research linking cell phones to cancer he says its better to be safe than sorry. But most cell users are waiting on proof before they start cutting back.
