Listen to Tamara Baluja's report.

Two men have been charged with theft and 220 stolen bikes were seized by police from the Bicycle Clinic near Queen St West and Strachan. Police are giving people who think their bike might've been stolen a chance to get it back. The bikes will be on display at the Central Garage, 9 Hanna Ave between 10 am and 6 pm on Saturday July 19 and Sunday July 20.

Inspector Bryce Evans says so far the bike recovery has been successful with many bike owners walking away thrilled. Inspector Evans says you need some proof of ownership, like a receipt or photographs showing you on the bike. Police are also encouraging all bike owners to register their bikes online with them.

Jenna, who found her bike, says she is thrilled. "I love my bike so much! I'm going for a bike ride right now".

Igor Kenk and Jean Laveau have been arrested. The Bicycle Clinic has been notorious for selling stolen bikes, but last week, police finally found evidence indicating Kenk knew the bikes were stolen. He was witnesses directing a person to steal bicycles in the area of the store.

Inspector Evans says there is still hope for people who haven't found their bikes at 9 Hanna Ave. Evans says they estimate about 500 more bikes are at another location, but they cannot get in yet because the building structure is unstable. Police hope to make those bikes available for people to reclaim them soon.
