There's no need to worry, the water is safe. Despite the green flags, some people are still hesitant when it comes to diving into Lake Ontario.

From June to the end of August samples from the supervised beaches are taken daily. 

The City of Toronto tests for E.coli levels and when tests show high levels of bacteria, signs are posted that warn against swimming.
