Salsa on St. ClairIt's time to Salsa! Salsa on St. Clair is back for its fourth year this weekend with live music, food, and of course, salsa. Event co-ordinator, Oscar Rangel says the festival is Latin themed, but everyone is welcome.
Salsa on St. Clair runs this Saturday from noon to 11 pm, and Sunday between noon and 8 pm. St. Clair West from Winona to Christie will be shut down for the festival both days.
Nissan Toronto 10 Miler and 5 Km Run and Walki Looking for something sporty to do this weekend? Then, go to the Nissan Toronto 10 Miler and 5 km Run and Walk on Sunday July 13.
If you plan to run in the Scotiabank Toronto waterfront marathon in September or any other long race, Allan Brooks says you should definitely come to the Nissan Toronto 10 Miler and 5 kn Run and Walk to prep.
So far, 2000 people have signed up for the 10 Miler that will happen in the Distillery District on Sunday. Some lanes in the area will be reduced to single lanes to let the runners through.
Pedestrian Sunday in Mirvish Village Three times every summer, Mirvish Village invites everyone to Pedestrian Sundays. Karen Wilson, one of the event planners says this Sunday there will be lots of performances, psychic readings, wine tastings and of course food.
The event runs Sunday July 13 from 12-9 pm, and there will be road closures from Lennox up to Bloor St along Bathurst.
