Mark Carcasole's report on GO's increased ridership
You might be finding it a little more crowded on your preferred GO Transit vehicle these days. GO reported at its regular meeting Friday afternoon that it has seen an increase of 7.7% in ridership since this time last year.
But, the province's transit branch is also dealing with the same problem many of us are facing.

About 80% of GO operations are funded by fares, the rest is accumulated through government subsidies.
