Amber Gero's report on Oakville jewellery store robbery

An all-night police effort to find a robbery suspect at the Olde Oakville Market Plaza followed the robbery of a jewellery store owner at his home in Burlington.

Police told CFRB News that a car and keys to the business, Knar Jewellers on Cornwall Road were taken.  Later the car was seen outside the jewellery store.  

Police surrounded the plaza and locked down stores to try to find the robber. Gradually employees and customers were let out. Police tried to flush out the suspect from the plaza, in which stores share attic space. 

The jewellery store owner suffered a minor injury in the robbery.
