Learning about Canadian history can be fun

Two Toronto teachers have been nominated for this year's Governor General's Awards for Excellence in Teaching Canadian History.  Scott Masters is one of the Toronto teachers selected.  Scott is nominated for his creation of an innovative lesson plan that invites veterans and Holocaust survivors into his classroom to speak with students about their own personal stories and to share personal artifacts and documents.  Jane Brown spoke with Scott on Toronto at Noon (July 3rd/08).  You can listen to the interview here.
