The 2008 R.I.D.E Drive Safe! campaign kicked off today morning at the Rogers Centre.

Toronto Police Chief Blair was joined by Paul Godfrey, the President and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, along with other police officers, corporate partners and community sponsors.

The motto of the Drive Safe! campaign this year is "Last Call is your call". The message to Ontario drivers is clear - getting home safe depends on drivers driving safely and soberly.

Police services across the province will distribute an informational Drive Safe! Booklet.

In addition to the booklet distribution, Drive Safe! posters will be on display at LCBO stores, insurance broker's offices, and government offices.
