Ryan Bird Reports on Fatal Crash on Eglinton

Eglinton Avenue, east of the DVP, was closed for nine hours overnight as police investigated a six-vehicle crash that left two people dead and another nine injured. It was around 8:30 p.m. that police say a westbound Honda Accord, travelling at more than 100 km/h, crossed the centre median, hit two eastbound vehicles, crossed back over the median and hit more. The five people in the Honda were returning from a BBQ at Bluffers Park at the time of the crash.
