Man runs Mississauga Marathon in memory of his son

David Harris is running 19 consecutive Mississauga Marathons dedicating each race to one year of his son's life.  His son committed suicide at the age of 19.  Dave created the CameronHelps charity to help those dealing with teen suicide. Nicole Sanscartier of Rothesay High School in Rothesay, New Brunswick will be one of 16 Canadian students participating in the Cape Farewell Youth Expedition setting sail on Sept 7th on a two-week voyage that will circumvent the tip of Greenland, navigate the Davis Straight and then head to Iqualuit, Baffin Island where they will disembark.  She spoke with Dave Trafford on Toronto at Noon (Sept 4/08) about the upcoming trip.  You can listen to the interview here.
