Natural remedies and drugs may pose danger

A surprisingly large number of children are taking combinations of natural health products and drugs that could trigger harmful reactions.  Dr. Ran Goldman is the lead author of a new Canadian study and head of the emergency department at the B.C. Children's Hospital.  He surveyed 1,804 families over an eight-month period who brought children to the emergency department at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto where Dr. Goldman previously worked.  Dr. Goldman spoke with Dave Trafford on Toronto at Noon on Tuesday April 1st, 2008.   You can listen to the interview here.
