Dixon Hall Music School celebrates 30 years of providing over 3,700 children from the Regent Park and St. Lawrence neighbourhoods with affordable, quality music lessons with a benefit concert on Wednesday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Capital Theatre, featuring singer, songwriter and former Blood, Sweat and Tears frontman David Clayton-Thomas. Hailed by Billboard Magazine as possibly "the greatest blues oriented singer to come out of his generation”, Clayton-Thomas will be joined by past and present students of Dixon Hall Music School, including their best known graduate jazz pianist, Thompson Egbo-Egbo in an evening of entertainment and camaraderie to commemorate Dixon Hall’s impact on Toronto communities.
