Galas
Looking for star power? You'll find plenty of household names with six star-studded Galas over three hilarious nights. This year's superlative lineup of hosts includes SNL alumnus and future Late Night on NBC host Jimmy Fallon, Seinfeld star Jason Alexander and Emmy Award-winning actor, SCTV alumnus and Hamilton native Martin Short. More than just traditional stand-up, the Just For Laughs Galas are hilariously high concept evenings of comedy and theatrics packed with gut-busting surprises from start to finish.

Outdoor Event
Just For Laughs Toronto Festival is having a street party and the entire city is invited! The world's most prestigious comedy festival will be transforming Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square and an additional two city blocks into a wonderland of colour, sound and light on July 25 and 26. These must-see events featuring some of the most astounding performance troupes from across the globe, will take place on Friday, July 25 from 7:00 - 11:00 pm and Saturday, July 26 from 5:00 - 11:00 pm

Concert Event
We're turning the spotlight on ventriloquist Jeff Dunham in a very special concert event at Massey Hall. Hailed as "one of the funniest stand-up comics alive," Dunham is an American Comedy Award winner who has amassed legions of fans throughout the U.S. and abroad with thousands of sold-out theater and comedy club performances and countless television spots including numerous Tonight Show appearances and recently had the highest-rated specials on Comedy Central.

Ethnic Series
Get ready to celebrate the city's cultural diversity with The Asian Invasion. Hosted by Canadian stand-up sensation Sugar Sammy, this gut-busting show features a collection of the hottest Asian comedians from around the world, including edgy late night veteran Jo Koy.

Prepare to awaken the Italian within as the talented paesanos of Wiseguys like The Tonight Show's Joey Kola and Canadian Comedy Award nominees The Doo-Wops dish out a night of hilarious comedy. A pinch of sarcasm, a dash of honesty, a bunch of hot Italian talent and you've got all the right ingredients for a hilarious comedy show. Now that's an offer you can't refuse!

Toronto Clubs
Headliners - Double your pleasure and double your fun as two festival favorites stretch out with extended 30 minute sets. Each night features a different line-up. You won't just laugh, you'll be doubled over! Headliners, featuring a who's who of international comedy stars including This Hour Has 22 Minutes anchor Shaun Majumder, American Comedy Award-winner Wendy Liebman, Scary Movie star Kevin Hart, Last Comic Standing's Gerry Dee, Comedy Central's Al Madrigal, Australian sensation Adam Hills and The Next Best Thing's Jeff Ross and Elon Gold.

The Sketch Show - Just For Laughs is proud to team up with Second City in this special show showcasing some of the greatest sketch this side of the Atlantic.Hosted by Craig Robinson (The Office), the show will feature some of the best sketch troupes from Toronto and abroad, presented at The Second City Toronto.

Best of Homegrown 2008 - Each year, Just For Laughs scours the country for the best new comics in Canada. Debra DiGiovanni (Last Comic Standing) hosts a line-up of nine of the most promising Canadian comics from coast-to-coast. This will be an all-Canadian affair featuring the next great stars.
